Cynthia Roy  is a professional educator of fourteen years and an influential organizer, activist, and writer. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Cynthia represents educators in Massachusetts on the Massachusetts Teachers Assn (MTA) Executive Committee and is the co-chair of the New Bedford Coalition to Save Our Schools (NBCSOS) in New Bedford, MA.
